Chef Jyll’s Traditional Holiday Recipe

This  holiday recipe has been in my family since I can remember. My mom makes it for every holiday dinner, and now I make it for my family (and in-laws). It’s always a requested favorite. Make it the day before hand and throw it in the oven 30 minutes before dinner! Easy and delicious comfort food, you can’t go wrong with this holiday recipe!

Creamy Corn Casserole (serves 8-10)

1 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 16 oz bags frozen white corn, thawed
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 cup parmesan cheese, grated, divided
3 Tbs flour
5 Tbs butter, melted

Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray. In a large saucepan, heat the heavy cream to a boil. Add corn, salt and sugar and heat to a boil. In a small bowl, whisk the flour and melted butter. Stir into the boiling corn mixture and stir, cooking until thickened. Stir in 2/3 cup of the parmesan cheese. Pour into the greased baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining parmesan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the cheese is golden. Enjoy this holiday recipe with your family.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Gather on Broadway. Have a delicious holiday!! ~Jyll
