The minute Devin and Nelson walked into Gather on Broadway for a tour, they fell in love with the venue.
“After we left our first meeting, we knew we didn’t need to look anywhere else to host our special day. Everything from the exposed brick to the stunning lighting was exactly what we were looking for,” Devin said. The lighting made the space glow, creating a warm, intimate feeling. The venue was a blank canvas that Devin and Nelson made their own for their Fall wedding.
“The staff at Gather was willing to try any crazy idea we had, including having our ceremony chairs curved around the room,” Devin said.
Private Suite
The private second-floor suite was a perfect space for the bridal party to spend the morning getting ready. Devin said the best part was looking out through the window to see the wedding space come together and the guests arrive.
All-In-One Experience
Aside from Gather’s phenomenal atmosphere, the bride and groom loved having an all-in-one experience under one roof. Gather on Broadway hosted the Fall wedding ceremony, reception, dinner and dance.
“Our guests commented on how wonderful it was not to have to travel and have a space for them to mingle and enjoy cocktails and appetizers in between the ceremony and reception. We received so many compliments on how stunning the space was,” Devin said.
Exquisite Food
The guests also raved about the food. For appetizers, Gather Executive Chef Jyll Everman and her team prepared Mini Loaded Baked Potatoes, Crab Fritters and an Antipasto Tray. As a special favor, the staff set aside appetizers for the bridal party to enjoy when they returned from an off-site photo shoot.
For dinner, guests selected from four delectable entrees: Herb Roasted Chicken Breast, Braised Beef Short Ribs, Salmon, or Penne with Pesto Cream. With all of these options, everyone had something to enjoy.
“Chef Jyll personally delivered our meals to the head table, which made us feel so special,” Devin said. To top off the night, guests indulged in Fried Mac and Cheese, a heavenly late-night treat.
The Royal Treatment
In every way possible, the Gather staff treated the newlyweds like royalty, truly making the Fall wedding day an experience to remember.
“Our wedding was completely stress free, which allowed us to be fully present and immerse ourselves in our day,” Devin said. Gather’s team handled all of the details, working closely with the wedding vendors, florist and baker.
Stealing away as Husband & Wife
At the end of the evening, Devin and Nelson took a moment to themselves in the private suite, watching their guests enjoy themselves on the dance floor. The newlyweds couldn’t have been more pleased with their Fall wedding at Gather on Broadway.
“They have everything! The food, the amazing lighting, the professionals, the bar, a quaint, upstairs getting-ready location…the list goes on and on,” Devin said.
