Something different. Nathan and Kayla didn’t want to host their wedding at a hotel or a golf course. Instead, they were looking for something out of the ordinary for their summer wedding in Green Bay.

“The minute we walked into Gather we fell in love.”

“The exposed brick, the café light and chandeliers were exactly what we were looking for,” ,” Kayla said. “We saw Gather as this beautiful blank slate that could allow us to create the wedding we had dreamed of.” What they created was a summer wedding to remember.

“The venue created an ambiance that is simply incomparable to other weddings we have attended,” Kayla said. “The whole night and even after the wedding, we had guests coming up to us telling us how amazing the venue was.” For the wedding ceremony, Nathan and Kayla lined the aisle and altar with candles. The soft glow of candles filled the room. The setting was already very romantic, but when it started to rain, the atmosphere was perfect.

“The ambiance was everything we would have hoped it would be.”

The food was just as perfect. For appetizers, Gather Executive Chef Jyll Everman served Filet Mignon Crostini, Crab Fritters and an Artisan Cheese and Fruit Platter. Entrees were Herb Roasted Chicken Breast, Braised Short Ribs, Brown Butter Scallops, and Penne Pesto Pasta. To top off the evening, guests enjoyed Bavarian pretzels with Nacho Cheese and Honey Mustard as a late-night appetizer.

“We really wanted to make sure our guests were served a good meal, and Gather went above and beyond. Our guests raved about the food,” ,” Kayla said.

Kayla and Nathan created so many beautiful memories on their wedding day, and the staff at Gather contributed to their remarkable experience. The staff set up tables, worked with the wedding vendors, and made sure the bride and groom had nothing to worry about on the day of their summer wedding.

“It was very stress free.”

“The waitstaff was very efficient and the bartenders were so appreciated,” Kayla said. Wedding Events Manager Ahnna Dexter was with the couple every step of the way.

“She was patient, she listened, and was very prompt with her responses. She was truly a delight to work with,” Kayla said. “All in all, we are incredibly happy with our choice to host our wedding at Gather. It was nothing short of amazing.”
